Problem: In many energy storage systems, the electrolyte determines a wide range of battery performance factors. Since there is no universal electrolyte that meets all requirements of an energy storage system at the same time, electrolyte solutions need to be customized for different applications.

Solution: E-Lyte produces, develops and licenses customized electrolytes for electrical energy storage devices (e.g. lithium-ion batteries, sodium-ion batteries and supercapacitors) with the aim of optimizing energy storage for various optimize applications and energy storage technologies.

USP: Flexible adaptation of electrolyte formulations for niche market applications with a higher degree of innovation and customized solutions and construction of an innovative electrolyte production plant with a reduced CO2 footprint (closed-loop electrolyte production).
